Church View and Town Farm

CHURCH VIEW

Church View offers spacious accommodation for a family of 6. It has its own entrance porch at the front of the property. This area contains a washing machine and tumble dryer and the staircase leads up to a large hall. On the left of the hall there is a spacious lounge, to the right the kitchen diner is well equipped with fridge/freezer, microwave, and electric cooker. On the next floor there are two large bedrooms, one has twin beds and a double whilst the other has a double bed and a cot. The bathroom has a shower over the bath. All the beds have quilts so you can bring your own bed linen if you wish. The caretaker runs a linen service at £5.00 per person if you require this you arrange this with her directly.

The lounge and diner/kitchen look out onto the village green and ancient church. This 18th Century house situated on the village green at Beadnell. is one of the oldest houses in the village.

It is less than half a mile from the seashore and there are two different beaches within a few minutes walk. One is out through the front of the village towards Seahouses this beach is stony with many rock pools. The other beachis found by crossing the fields at the back of the village on the footpath, leads to a beautiful sweeping sandy beach. From here there are views of Dunstanburgh Castle.

Beadnell has an attractive little harbour; the coastal path links Beadnell with Alnmouth and includes some of the finest scenery on the Heritage Coast with views of the Farne Islands to the south and Bamburgh Castle to the north. There is an outdoor sports centre for windsurfing canoeing and sea fishing in Beadnell and also several fine golfcourses nearby.

Beadnell has a village shop, a fish and chip restaurant, a post office, The Beadnell Towers Hotel and the Craster Arms Pub.

We allow up to 2 dogs in this property. A high chair is available by request. Parking is available directly outside Church View or you can park a few yards away by the village shop as there are no parking restrictions in this quiet little village. Electricity is by a £1 coin meter which is situated in the cupboard in the double bedroom. For lets out of season we offer oil fired central heating at £4.00 per day. This is arranged with the caretaker and the money is paid to her. To secure a booking a £50 deposit is required the cheque being made payable to Bonnew Limited. The balance to be sent 6 weeks prior to commencement of the holiday.
